Effect of front surface engineering on high energy electron, X-ray and heavy ion generation from Relativistic laser interaction with thick high-Z targets
Este estudio demuestra que, aunque los recubrimientos frontales en blancos de tantalio pueden mejorar la aceleración de iones pesados debido a un mayor tamaño de mancha, los blancos desnudos generaron los mejores electrones y rayos X de alta energía bajo pulsos láser relativistas, destacando la importancia crítica del control de la densidad y el espesor de los recubrimientos para optimizar la acoplamiento de energía.
