Laccase-Assisted Gallic Acid Functionalization of Corn Straw Fibers for Reinforcing SBS-Modified Asphalt Binder: Fiber Toughening, Rheological Performance, and Molecular-Scale Mechanisms
This study demonstrates that synergistic functionalization of corn straw fibers using a gallic acid–laccase system significantly enhances their mechanical toughness and interfacial compatibility, thereby markedly improving the high-temperature rheological performance and molecular stability of SBS-modified asphalt binders through strengthened intermolecular interactions.
