Dispersal-induced persistence of chaotic ecosystems under extreme climatic events
This study demonstrates that dispersal between a cyclone-impacted coastal ecosystem and a less-affected inland patch is essential for preventing extinction and maintaining chaotic population dynamics under extreme climatic events, whereas dispersal between equally affected patches fails to ensure survival.
