Assessing the High Quality Development of New Type Urbanization and Coordinated Development Strategies in Western China
Using data from 2015 to 2023, this study evaluates the high-quality development of new-type urbanization in Western China through a multidimensional framework, revealing a transition from quantitative expansion to qualitative improvement that is currently hindered by low coordination among subsystems, thereby calling for differentiated pathways and strengthened institutional and ecological strategies to achieve balanced regional development.
