A Globally Adaptable Framework for Thermal Autarky of a Near-Isothermal Solar Anaerobic Digester
This study introduces and validates a globally adaptable, climate-normalized design framework that achieves thermal autarky for near-isothermal mesophilic anaerobic digestion by optimizing insulation and solar aperture, thereby overcoming the energy self-consumption barriers that have limited the global realization of anaerobic digestion potential.
