Design and Control of Atmospheric Water Electrolysis Systems for Green Hydrogen in Arid Environments

This study demonstrates that atmospheric water electrolysis, specifically using a Direct Air Electrolyzer with a hygroscopic H₂SO₄ electrolyte, offers a viable, water-independent pathway for decentralized green hydrogen production in arid environments like the MENA region, achieving a lower levelized cost of hydrogen (approximately 5.8 USD·kg⁻¹) compared to hybrid dehumidification systems despite operating under extreme low-humidity conditions.

Numerical Simulation and Process Parameters for Laser Cleaning of Oxide Films on TA15 Titanium Alloy

This study develops and validates a finite element model for nanosecond pulsed laser cleaning of oxide films on TA15 titanium alloy, identifying optimal process parameters (200 W power, 10 kHz repetition rate, 3000 mm/s scanning speed, and 7.5 mm/s cleaning speed) while highlighting the potential of high laser fluence to induce periodic microstructures for surface engineering applications.

A Direct–Indirect Homotopic Approach for Fuel-Optimal Low-Thrust DRO-to-NRHO Transfer in Cislunar Space

This paper presents a direct–indirect homotopic method that solves a fuel-optimal low-thrust transfer from a distant retrograde orbit to a near-rectilinear halo orbit in the Earth–Moon system by using a smooth energy-optimal solution to initialize and guide an indirect shooting formulation through a homotopy parameter.

Rdii Dynamics in Coastal Sewer Systems: Influence of Downstream Boundary Conditions Based on Rtk Unit Hydrographs

This study analyzes RDII dynamics in the coastal Lagoa da Conceição sewer system, revealing that downstream boundary conditions like lake levels significantly influence hydrograph timing and magnitude at certain pump stations, thereby demonstrating the necessity of tailoring RTK parameters to local backwater effects rather than relying on generic values.
