The impact of non-Gaussianity when searching for Primordial Black Holes with LISA
This paper demonstrates that the presence of astrophysical foregrounds and strong primordial non-Gaussianity significantly weakens the link between scalar-induced gravitational waves and primordial black hole abundance, thereby limiting LISA's ability to definitively confirm or rule out asteroid-mass primordial black holes as dark matter.
