Outcomes of Type A Aortic Dissection with Malperfusion Syndrome: An Asian Multi-Institutional Cohort Study
This multi-institutional Asian cohort study of 1,021 patients demonstrates that type A aortic dissection with malperfusion carries significantly higher short- and long-term mortality risks compared to cases without malperfusion, with cerebral malperfusion identified as a critical predictor of surgical death that should be integrated into risk stratification models.
