Intraoperative Voluven is Associated with Reduced Anastomotic Leakage Without Increasing Acute Kidney Injury in Gastrointestinal Surgery: A Retrospective Cohort Study
This retrospective cohort study of gastrointestinal surgery patients found that intraoperative Voluven administration was associated with a significantly reduced risk of anastomotic leakage without increasing the incidence of postoperative acute kidney injury or other complications compared to crystalloids alone.
