Aortic Bifurcation Injury Following Blunt Trauma Presenting as Bilateral Lower Limb Ischemia: A Case Report
This case report describes a fatal outcome in a 57-year-old male with blunt aortic bifurcation injury and bilateral lower limb ischemia, highlighting that despite urgent surgical intervention and amputation, severe reperfusion injury and multiorgan dysfunction syndrome led to death, underscoring the high mortality associated with such rare, complex trauma.
