Differential pollen sterility in rice under high temperature stress at booting stage: ultrastructural and cytological evidence of cultivar-specific anther degradation and yield penalties
This study utilizes multi-scale cytological and ultrastructural analyses to characterize cultivar-specific anther degradation patterns and pollen abortion mechanisms in four popular rice varieties under high-temperature stress, thereby establishing a comprehensive technical framework for screening heat-tolerant germplasm and elucidating the cellular basis of yield penalties.
