Determinants of Climate Smart Agricultural Practice Adoption among Rice Farmers in Lafia Local Government Area Nasarawa State Nigeria
This study of rice farmers in Lafia, Nigeria, reveals that while the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices is moderate and widespread, it is driven more by institutional and agronomic constraints like poor market access and high labor costs than by household socioeconomic characteristics, suggesting a need for policy focused on strengthening markets and information systems rather than targeting specific farmer demographics.
