Stiffness Drives Endothelial Senescence and Inflammation in Aging and Doxorubicin-Induced Vascular Dysfunction
This study demonstrates that vascular stiffness mechanically drives endothelial senescence and inflammation in both aging and doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity, revealing an optimal physiological stiffness window and identifying tissue mechanics as a promising therapeutic target for cardiovascular and cardio-oncological interventions.
