Seasonal Shifts in Microbial Communities and Physicochemical Quality of a Pristine Waterfall in Abuja, Nigeria
This study evaluates a pristine waterfall in Abuja, Nigeria, revealing that seasonal shifts significantly alter its physicochemical properties and microbial populations, with rainy season conditions driving higher microbial counts and distinct temperature-pH interactions that are effectively modeled using Response Surface Methodology to predict ecological and public health risks.
