The Impacts of the Activities of the International Non- Governmental Organizations on Post-Conflict Environmental Reconstruction in Monrovia, Liberia
This mixed-methods study of post-conflict Monrovia (2020–2024) reveals that while International Non-Governmental Organization activities significantly drive environmental reconstruction outcomes—particularly through community education and rehabilitation programs—they struggle to effect structural behavioral changes like waste management, highlighting the need for long-term investment frameworks to sustain recovery.
