Longitudinal Effects of Cardiometabolic Phenotypes and Socioeconomic Status on Psychological-cognitive comorbidity: Cohort Evidence from China, the United States, and the United Kingdom
This longitudinal study across China, the US, and the UK demonstrates that higher cardiometabolic disease burden, specific disease types like cardiovascular disease, and low socioeconomic status independently increase the risk of psychological-cognitive comorbidity in middle-aged and older adults, highlighting the need for integrated medical and socioeconomic interventions.
