Knowledge, Perceptions, and Preventive Practices Towards Human Metapneumovirus Among Malaysian Adults: A Cross-Sectional Study
This cross-sectional study of 680 Malaysian adults reveals that while general preventive behaviors are common, specific knowledge about Human Metapneumovirus remains limited, with higher awareness significantly associated with female sex, older age, health-related backgrounds, and prior respiratory infection history, highlighting the need for targeted public health communication to address misconceptions.
