Serum Lipid Biomarkers and Their Associations with Age-Related Macular Degeneration: A Cross-Sectional Analysis from the Beichen Eye Study
This cross-sectional analysis of the Beichen Eye Study involving 4,748 participants aged over 50 found that a higher triglyceride-to-HDL cholesterol ratio and lower triglyceride levels were associated with a reduced prevalence of age-related macular degeneration, while HDL cholesterol alone showed no independent association.
