Sick Child Feeding Practice and Associated Factors Among Mothers With Sick Children Less Than 24 Months of Age in Debre Tabor Regiopolitan City, Northwest Ethiopia.(Institutional Cross-sectional Mixed Method)

This institutional cross-sectional mixed-method study conducted in Debre Tabor, Northwest Ethiopia, reveals that only 61.4% of mothers practice good feeding for sick children under 24 months, a behavior significantly influenced by maternal education, pregnancy intention, and access to antenatal/postnatal care and counseling, while qualitative findings highlight barriers such as loss of appetite and food shortages.

Conditional Diffusion-Based Data Augmentation for Imbalanced Multi-Mode Fault Diagnosis in Predictive Maintenance

This paper demonstrates that class-conditional denoising diffusion probabilistic models (DDPMs) effectively mitigate severe class imbalance in predictive maintenance by synthesizing high-fidelity minority-class samples, significantly outperforming traditional augmentation methods like SMOTE and GANs in detecting rare industrial failures.

Network Meta-Analysis of Cardiac, Coronary, and Pulmonary Dose-Sparing Effects of Different Deep-Inspiration Breath-Hold Techniques in Radiotherapy for Left-Sided Breast Cancer

This network meta-analysis of 58 studies involving 4,136 patients demonstrates that while all deep-inspiration breath-hold (DIBH) techniques (ABC-DIBH, SGRT-DIBH, and vDIBH) significantly reduce cardiac, LAD, and left lung radiation exposure compared to free breathing in left-sided breast cancer, the optimal technique for specific dosimetric endpoints varies, with ABC-DIBH excelling in mean heart and LAD dose reduction, SGRT-DIBH in maximum dose reduction, and vDIBH in mean lung dose and V20 reduction.

Causal Retrieval-Augmented Generation: ModifyingFake Correlations in AI-Driven Knowledge Systems through Algorithmic Nudging

This paper introduces Causal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (CR-RAG), a framework that models the RAG pipeline as a Structural Causal Model to mitigate spurious correlations and reduce hallucinations through backdoor adjustment, inverse-propensity reweighting, and counterfactual data augmentation, achieving significant performance gains on knowledge-intensive benchmarks, particularly for long-tail questions.

Recovery of unilateral and bilateral upper extremity capacity and proprioception after stroke: A longitudinal study using robotic assessment

This longitudinal study utilizing robotic assessments reveals that while upper extremity motor and proprioceptive functions follow distinct recovery trajectories during the subacute stroke phase, bilateral capacity emerges as the strongest independent predictor of activities of daily living performance.

Environmental Sustainability Through Lense of Digitalization and Banking Sector

Using the STIRPAT model on World Development Indicators from 1990 to 2023, this study demonstrates that digitalization, gender inclusion, and the banking sector significantly enhance environmental sustainability, thereby urging policymakers to integrate these factors into frameworks that balance economic growth with ecological conservation.
