Penile Doppler Ultrasound Systolic Impairment Predicts Major Cardiovascular Events in poor responders to PDE5-i Therapy
This study demonstrates that impaired penile peak systolic velocity in men with erectile dysfunction refractory to PDE5 inhibitors is independently associated with higher cardiovascular risk and serves as a significant predictor of future major cardiovascular events, suggesting penile Doppler ultrasound is a valuable tool for risk stratification in this population.
