Comparison of the Effectiveness of Mindful Self-Compassion Training and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy on Self-Esteem and Psychological Symptoms in Students with Academic Failure
This quasi-experimental study found that both Mindful Self-Compassion training and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy are equally effective in improving self-esteem and reducing psychological symptoms among students with academic failure, though Mindful Self-Compassion training offers the additional benefit of significantly increasing self-compassion.
