Traffic Regulation Literacy, Risk Perception and Safety Practices among Motorbike Riders in Delta State, Nigeria
This study, grounded in the Theory of Planned Behaviour, investigates motorbike riders in Agbor, Delta State, finding that while their traffic regulation literacy and risk perception are generally moderate to high and positively influence safety practices, actual compliance is frequently undermined by economic pressures, passenger demands, and infrastructural or enforcement limitations, necessitating integrated, context-sensitive interventions to improve road safety.
