Enhancing sorghum productivity through integrated nutrient management and water conservation in the sandy loam soil of the semi-arid region of Zimbabwe
This study demonstrates that in Zimbabwe's semi-arid sandy loam soils, combining high-rate compost-biochar/NPK integrated nutrient management with tied ridges and the SCXH102 sorghum variety significantly enhances soil moisture, nutrient use efficiency, and grain yield, offering a sustainable climate-smart solution for smallholder farmers.
