A Mixed Methods Analysis of Behavioural and Structural Drivers of Matenal, Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Disruption During and Post Covid-19 in Zimbabwe
This mixed-methods study across Zimbabwe reveals that the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated maternal, sexual, and reproductive health service disruptions through a convergence of "dual fear," vaccine misinformation, deteriorating patient-provider relationships, and severe structural barriers, culminating in an "Ubuntu Paradox" where communal solidarity is undermined by a system that individualizes the financial and logistical burdens of care.
