Association between remote dielectric sensing and transpulmonary thermodilution–derived lung water after cardiac surgery: a repeated- measures exploratory study
In this exploratory study of cardiac surgery patients, remote dielectric sensing (ReDS) showed a significant positive association with absolute extravascular lung water but failed to correlate with weight-indexed lung water, suggesting it reflects overall thoracic fluid burden rather than serving as a direct substitute for thermodilution-derived measurements.
