From "Knowing" to "Doing": Unpacking the sociocultural and systemic barriers to weight management in Chinese adults within the Greater Bay Area using the COM-B model
This qualitative study of overweight adults in China's Greater Bay Area reveals that despite high health literacy, weight management is hindered by a significant "know-do gap" driven primarily by occupational time poverty and a lack of professional guidance, necessitating a shift from individual education to system-level, AI-augmented collaborative care.
