Chinese nursing students’ experiences of workplace violence in the clinical setting: a qualitative study
This qualitative phenomenological study of 16 Chinese nursing students reveals that workplace violence in clinical settings stems largely from students' inexperience and inadequate instructor supervision, leading to emotional distress and prompting coping strategies such as ignoring incidents or seeking peer support, thereby highlighting the need for improved instructor selection and targeted training in violence prevention and resilience.
