Obstetric and neonatal outcomes after human papillomavirus-related cervical excisional treatment: a retrospective cohort study
This retrospective cohort study of 371 women found that while prior HPV-related cervical excisional treatment was generally associated with improved neonatal and obstetric outcomes overall, cold knife conization specifically was linked to significantly worse perinatal outcomes, including increased risks of placental abruption and stillbirth, underscoring the need for procedure-specific counseling.
