Evaluation of Anti‑Diarrheal Activity of Crude Methanol Root Extract and Solvent Fractions of Ficus thonningii (Moraceae) Using Swiss Albino Mice
This study validates the ethnomedicinal use of *Ficus thonningii* roots for treating diarrhea by demonstrating that its crude methanol extract and solvent fractions, particularly the aqueous fraction, exhibit significant dose-dependent anti-diarrheal activity in Swiss albino mice through multiple mechanisms.
