Students’ Perspectives on University Health Services in Public and Private Universities in South-East Nigeria: An Internet-Based Comparative Cross-Sectional Study with Policy Implications for Higher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa
This internet-based comparative cross-sectional study of students in South-East Nigeria reveals that while university health services in both public and private institutions only partially meet student needs, private university students report higher dissatisfaction and face distinct demographic differences, highlighting an urgent need for policy-driven improvements in staffing, infrastructure, and accessibility across Sub-Saharan African higher education.
