Lateralized Veno-Occlusive Dysfunction in Peyronie's Disease: Bilateral Corporal Hemodynamic Discrepancy Revealed by Dynamic Penile Doppler Ultrasonography in Men With and Without Erectile Dysfunction
This retrospective study of 189 men with Peyronie's disease reveals that those with erectile dysfunction exhibit significant bilateral corporal hemodynamic asymmetry, particularly characterized by reduced left-sided resistive indices, suggesting ipsilateral plaque-mediated veno-occlusive dysfunction that warrants routine bilateral assessment for surgical risk stratification.
