Hand Sanitizer with Sustained Antibacterial and Virucidal Activities Mitigates Upper Respiratory Symptoms and Work Restrictions: Double-blind Household Cluster- randomized Controlled Trial
A double-blind, cluster-randomized controlled trial demonstrated that repeated use of a novel hand sanitizer with sustained antimicrobial activity significantly reduced the incidence of upper respiratory symptoms and work restrictions compared to a conventional ethanol-based sanitizer over a 72-day winter period.
