Characteristics and Efficiency of Inpatient Consultations in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: A Retrospective Study from a Tertiary Comprehensive Hospital
This retrospective study of a tertiary comprehensive hospital reveals that while the majority of inpatient consultations in oral and maxillofacial surgery are completed within 8 hours to support complex multidisciplinary care, a notable proportion of delays and incomplete requests highlights the need for improved pre-consultation assessment and inter-specialty communication.
