Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms in Fathers Following a Pregnancy Complicated by Preeclampsia: A Cross-Sectional Survey
This cross-sectional survey indicates that fathers of pregnancies complicated by severe preeclampsia (specifically HELLP syndrome or eclampsia) exhibit higher post-traumatic stress symptoms compared to those with uncomplicated pregnancies, a trend that increases with disease severity and is significantly associated with a history of PTSD, though NICU admission does not appear to mediate this relationship.
