Nonlinear Dose-Response Relationship between D-Dimer and Venous Thromboembolism in Patients with Heart Failure: A Restricted Cubic Spline Analysis
This study demonstrates a significant nonlinear dose-response relationship between D-dimer levels and venous thromboembolism risk in heart failure patients, characterized by a steep increase at low levels followed by a plateau, which was observed across sexes and specifically in the HFrEF subtype but not in HFpEF.
