Platelet-Rich and Platelet-Poor Plasma Treatment Pre- and Post-Breeding 2 Differentially Regulates Gene Expression in Early Equine Embryos from Mares 3 Susceptible to Persistent Breeding-Induced Endometritis
This study demonstrates that intrauterine infusion of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or platelet-poor plasma (PPP) in mares susceptible to persistent breeding-induced endometritis differentially modulates early embryonic gene expression, with PRP enhancing cellular homeostasis and PPP promoting developmental regulation and energy metabolism, indicating that these therapies influence the embryonic transcriptome via endometrial effects independent of platelet concentration.
