The CYP6P4 I236M Mutation Imposes High Fitness Costs and Increases Susceptibility to Chlorfenapyr-Based Insecticide-Treated Nets in Anopheles gambiae
This study demonstrates that while the CYP6P4-I236M mutation in *Anopheles gambiae* confers strong resistance to pyrethroid and PBO-based nets, it imposes significant fitness costs and reduced efficacy against chlorfenapyr-based nets, suggesting that rotation or mixture strategies with chlorfenapyr could effectively manage resistance.
