Lineage Memory and Convergent Adaptation Dictate the Single-Cell and Spatial Architecture of Brain Malignancies

By integrating the largest single-cell and spatial atlas of brain malignancies, this study reveals that tumor evolution is driven by a balance of lineage-specific imprinting and convergent adaptation to a dominant mesenchymal state, which orchestrates distinct microenvironmental shifts and defines a specific proliferative niche that predicts severe clinical deterioration.

Personality Heterogeneity Shapes the Neural Organization of Conditioned Threat Learning

This study demonstrates that individual differences in neuroticism shape the neural organization of conditioned threat learning by reducing the brain's ability to differentiate threat from safety signals, a pattern that specifically links neural threat representations to anxiety vulnerability within high-neuroticism individuals.

Circulating miRNAs as biomarkers for evaluating physiologic responses to an exercise-based rehabilitation programme in cancer survivors

This pilot study found that while a 12-week exercise rehabilitation program significantly improved functional and physiological parameters in cancer survivors, circulating miRNAs (with the exception of miR-126) showed limited responsiveness to the intervention and only modest associations with these physiological adaptations, suggesting a need for larger controlled studies to validate their utility as biomarkers.
