Techno-Economic Analysis and Process Intensification of a Cost-Effective Hybrid-Mixing Internally Illuminated Photobioreactor for Improved Microalgal Biodiesel Production
This study demonstrates that a cost-effective, hybrid-mixing, internally illuminated photobioreactor significantly enhances microalgal biomass and lipid productivity, achieving a biodiesel yield of 85.72% while identifying energy consumption and scale as primary factors for future cost reduction in large-scale production.
