Clinical and Histopathological Assessment of Actinomycosis in Patients with Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw
This retrospective study of 70 MRONJ patients highlights that *Actinomyces* colonization occurs in 30% of cases, is significantly associated with specific oncological diagnoses like breast cancer, and responds well to combined surgical and targeted antibiotic therapy, supporting its consideration in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
