Toxicological Evaluation of Dracaena trifasciata Methanolic Extract on Liver Function in Wistar Rats
This study demonstrates that while *Dracaena trifasciata* methanolic leaf extract is safe at low doses (≤250 mg/kg) in Wistar rats, prolonged administration of higher doses (500–1000 mg/kg) induces significant hepatotoxicity characterized by elevated liver enzymes and histopathological damage.
